Web Sites I Created, Work On, or Have Worked On
-
Education Week on the Web - I am Executive Producer of edweek.org at Editorial Projects in Eductation, publisher of Education Week, Teacher Magazine, and several searchable database applications.
We publish our web sites and applications using open source technologies and tools such at Linux, Apache, Perl, PHP,
MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Bricolage.
We have recently redesigned the Education Week and Teacher Magazine channels, and some applications we've rolled out since I've taken over include our event calendar and a graduation rate GIS we developed with ESRI. We may eventually move our whole education indicator database to this technology.
