Stories about cool events I've attended, musings about social media and other technology, and commentary about people, issues, ideas, whatever. I've had a web site since 1994, at my own domain since 1997, and switched it to blog format in 2005. Now, in 2008, I've added labels, shuffled things around a bit and fixed some style and UI quirks - hence 2.1. Watch for more widgets and microformats....
Blogging a note I passed along to friends, from
Michael Moore. He's encouraging even more people to go see
"Sicko" this week, and pledges to help struggling filmmakers with distro based upon his success.
I think he should encourage everyone to use the social networking/viral marketing methods used successfully by Moore,
Robert Greenwald,
Danny Schecter, and
"Before the Music Dies." Robert Greenwald delivered a great keynote on these methods at the
Digital Media Conference I attended a couple weeks ago.

P.S. Go see
Spottiswoode and his Enemies this Thursday at the
Quarry House, and then head over to
Bangkok Blues on Friday to catch the
Oxymorons!
