In this article, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reveals information from a Diebold whistle blower, and also discusses studies by Avi Rubin and Ed Felton demonstrating how easy it would be for an insider to hack into machines and alter enough votes to change the outcome of an election.

I'm involved in CPSR and USACM efforts to either eliminate electronic voting machines or to require a voter verifiable paper ballot be included in any such system. Other groups working on this issue include VerifiedVoting.org, MoveOn.org, and Common Cause.
