Paul's Web Space 2.1

Politics, Culture, Technology

Stories about cool events I've attended, musings about social media and other technology, and commentary about people, issues, ideas, whatever. I've had a web site since 1994, at my own domain since 1997, and switched it to blog format in 2005. Now, in 2008, I've added labels, shuffled things around a bit and fixed some style and UI quirks - hence 2.1. Watch for more widgets and microformats....

lazy monday

This is the "Color Me Mine" rap, the west coast response to the SNL skit "Lazy Sunday" (or "The Chronic-les of Narnia").

I would love to have a copy of the original "Lazy Sunday" video too, and it used to be on YouTube, but they took it down after receiving a nastygram from the suits at NBC -- even though it was one of the most popular videos ever on the service (and certainly helped NBC and SNL). Read more about it on Boing Boing (I realize this is old news, but I haven't posted anything in over 6 months, so late is better than never....)
