Here we go

OK, I think I'm finally ready to make a clean break from the past - made real by the fact of my 8-year-old web site. It is badly in need of a redesign, so instead I'm simply going to repoint my index page to the main page of this blog.

It seems like good timing, given that I turned 45 yesterday (geezer!). I hope to keep this relevant and topical, and to post reasonably often to keep people coming back for more of my enlightening prose ;-) Please join me....
